On a journey to Tanzania, I met Sauda, a dedicated social worker and skilled shoemaker who, like many moms, faced the challenge of working while raising her children. We were working on a team to develop educational resources when she and I connected on our desire to support busy parents with young children. Our shared vision led to the development of Kitoto, a carrier that supports parents' lifestyles, offering a secure pouch to keep essentials and soft, stretchable fabric for ultimate comfort on even the busiest of days.

 

Each Kitoto wrap is a labor of love. Sauda and her team carefully craft the pouches using vibrant Tanzanian cotton prints, bringing cultural heritage into each design. These handcrafted pieces then make their way to Canada, where our team assembles the final wraps using natural organic cotton fabrics, ensuring a product that is as beautiful as it is functional.
